Assistant Professor of American Literature

Tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Ethnic American Literatures to begin fall 2011, pending approval. Normal teaching load is five courses per year. Minimum qualifications: Ph.D. at time of appointment, with specialization in African American, Asian American, Latina/Latino, Chicana/Chicano, or Native American literatures, and Critical Race Theory.
